A Hallucination Flag Looks Wrong

An accuracy flag says an AI answer got something wrong, and you can see it didn't. Or an answer states a wrong fact about you and nothing was flagged.

Why a correct answer gets flagged

• Your fact on file is out of date. The check compares answers with your facts as they are when the audit runs.
• You have more than one price fact. Every dollar price in an answer is compared with each price fact. A difference over 10% counts as an error, so a second fact makes your other plan's price look wrong.
• The answer mentions another company's acquisition. Any "acquired by", "bought by" or "merged with" in the answer is flagged as critical, even about someone else.
• The word "from" was read as a location. "Plans start from $49" can be flagged against your location fact.
• A staff count was mentioned. Any "N employees" is flagged as unverified when you have no Employees fact.
• Another year sits near "founded" or "launched". The check reads years close to those words, including dates about other things.

Fix it

1. Open Brands → Edit and check every fact under Brand Facts against what is true today.
2. Keep one Pricing fact, your entry price.
3. If you were acquired, add a fact named "Acquired by". If you'd rather not see staff-count flags, add a fact named "Employees" with your real number.
4. Click Save Changes and run a new audit. Flags caused by your facts stop once the facts are right. There is no dismiss button.
5. The acquisition and "from" cases are errors in our check, not in your profile, and another audit won't clear them. Tell us (below) with the audit link.

Why a real error wasn't flagged

• The fact isn't on file. The check only knows what you entered.
• The price isn't in dollars. Only dollar figures are read.
• The fact's category isn't checked. Leadership and Other facts are not compared, except an Other fact named "Location".
• The claim is about a feature you don't have. The check catches answers saying you lack a feature you listed. It can't yet catch answers claiming one you don't offer.

With no facts on file, the audit shows accuracy as "Not checked". The acquisition and staff-count checks still run, so a flag can appear anyway.
