What 99Visibility checks
Every answer is read against the facts in your brand profile: price, founding year, location and features. Each flag carries a severity of critical, moderate or minor. A wrong price is moderate, and the fix it triggers, "AI quotes the wrong price for [brand]", is ranked critical because buyers act on a price.
On Free you see how many answers contradict your facts; what each flag says starts on Starter. When an audit finds a critical flag, we email you as the audit finishes. That is one alert per audit, not continuous monitoring, and on Starter and up you can schedule weekly or monthly re-audits.
Every plan, Free included, checks whether 18 AI crawlers can reach your site: robots.txt for each one, and a request as each crawler to see what your firewall answers. Each finding quotes what the vendor says a block costs, so a ChatGPT search block ranks critical and a training-only block ranks low.
What happens after the audit
Every audit ends in a ranked fix list. Each fix has a title, the action, the reason, a priority from critical to low and an effort of about 30 minutes, 1-2 hours or 3+ hours. When robots.txt blocks OpenAI's search crawler, the fix reads "ChatGPT search cannot see your site — OAI-SearchBot is blocked in robots.txt": critical, about 30 minutes, with the line in your file that causes it.
