Who looks for an SE Ranking alternative
Most people do it for SEO. The results for "SE Ranking alternatives" on 4 November 2026 were rank-tracker and backlink comparisons, so if that is your search, an SEO suite is your answer and this page is not.

SE Ranking sells AI visibility three ways:

It tracks daily, lists cited domains and pages, citation gaps and share, net sentiment and unlimited competitors per project, includes API and MCP access, and offers a 10-day free trial.
- SE Visible inside the SEO plans: its Core and Growth SEO plans, from $129 a month, include 25 SE Visible prompts a day on 5 LLMs for 1 project.
- The AI Results Tracker in SE Ranking, whose FAQ lists "Brand mention and link tracking across AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, and Gemini."
Its pages disagree on engines. SE Visible's pricing FAQ names ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode and Gemini, checked "the way a real user sees them", and Claude, asked "directly without web search"; the plan cards mark the Claude API "Soon", and the help center lists four engines. Confirm which engines your plan covers before you buy.
On accuracy, SE Ranking's FAQ says "you can read the wording yourself and spot descriptions that are negative or simply wrong"; we did not find an automatic check of answers against facts you supply. On crawler access, its free robots.txt tester includes AI user agents such as GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, and reads the robots.txt rules.

How to choose a SE Ranking alternative
- You want SEO and AI in one bill. Staying on SE Ranking may be right: its SEO plans include 25 SE Visible prompts a day. Semrush, Ahrefs and Keyword.com also sell AI tracking beside SEO tools.
- AI visibility is the job. A standalone tool asks more engines or checks more per prompt. Count the engines your buyers use, and confirm each one is on the plan you would buy.
- AI gets your facts wrong. Reading answers yourself works for a few prompts. For more, look for an automatic check against facts you supply: 99Visibility on every plan, Peec AI on a set number of prompts per plan.
- You need to know whether AI crawlers can reach you. A robots.txt tester reads the rules; it cannot see a firewall that blocks a crawler the rules allow. 99Visibility requests your page as each AI crawler that fetches pages.
